The “Voluntary Travel ID” spot informs travelers of their option for an optional ID that meets the requirements for the REAL ID which grants access at airports, federal buildings and military bases. The REAL ID is not a requirement until 2020. For more information please visit adot.gov/travelID

Arizona 811 has partnered with the ABA to sponsor a Public Education Program (PEP) / NCSA campaign titled “Preventing Serious Injuries and Protecting Vital Utilities with Arizona 811”, featuring a :30 English & Spanish language spot, and will run for 6 months, starting March 1 and ending August 31, 2017.

Since 1973 nonprofit Arizona 811 has been keeping individuals and our communities safe from serious or fatal injuries – while preventing damage to the vital utilities we all rely on every day – through accurate, efficient coordination of utility locating requests before digging begins. Using 811 reduces the chance of striking a buried facility to less than 1 percent; plus, it’s free and easy, and it’s the law.  This campaign reminds anyone who is digging or excavating for any reason anywhere in Arizona to “know what’s below” by calling 811 or clicking Arizona811.com.

Please include the Arizona 811 campaign in your current ABA Public Education Program (PEP) / NCSA inventory. These spots will run in conjunction with ADOT  – sharing inventory.
